Conditions of Sale
All items being auctioned are sold AS IS WHERE IS!! There are no refunds, guarantees, or warranties implied.
We are a secondary marketplace and it is not the right fit for everyone. There are amazing deals here, but there is also risk. Items may be overstocks or returns, new or used, perfect or broken. We share what we know about each item, and don't accept returns, exchanges, or offer refunds.
If you have not physically previewed an item (inspected it in person), and must make an assumption about that item before bidding, assume it is broken unless the description states otherwise. If you live out of the area, you can contact us with specific questions about the condition of the item, but PLEASE contact us prior to the day of the auction. We try to give you the best information possible, but there are times we miss something.

For ONLINE BIDDERS, there is a three second delay, so bid quickly. If it's something you REALLY want, you may want to physically come to the auction and bid in person. You can also contact us and place absentee bids up to two hours before the auction.
There is a 15% buyers premium on items purchased in house at the live auction, and a 20% buyers premium for all online bidders. If you have a resale license, please provide a copy to us in advance so sales tax is not added to your invoice.
This is a LEGAL AND BINDING CONTRACT between you and California Auction Company, LLC. When you bid on and win an item, you are responsible for all COSTS, including the buyers premium, sales tax, and shipping charges is applicable.

Payments
We accept cash, all major credit cards, and PayPal. You get a 3% discount on the buyer's premium if you pay by cash within three days after the auction.
Payment must be made within FIVE (5) days after the auction, and items must be picked up within TEN (10) days after the auction. Contact us if there are extenuating circumstances.
Paid items not picked up within TEN (10) days after the auction will be charged a storage fee of $5 per day for thirty (30) days after the auction date, then returned to inventory to be resold at a future auction.

Shipping Terms
An invoice will be sent to you after the auction is completed. Please pay for the items you won, then we will pack your items and send you another invoice for the shipping cost. If we have a credit card on file, we will charge your items and your shipping cost to that card.
If you need your items shipped to a different address that the one provided to Auction Zip or Invaluable, please contact us IMMEDIATELY after the auction and let us know.
We do not ship bicycles or larger items. If you would like to arrange your own shipping on a bike or larger item, please contact us IMMEDIATELY after the auction.
We try to find the lowest shipping cost from USPS, FedEx, or UPS. If your purchase is over $100, we will require a signature on delivery and insurance. If you have more than one box shipped, we will require a signature on delivery. There are a few items that will require an adult signature on delivery.
Customers who live in the area may pick up their items. If someone else is picking up your items, please let us know in advance. If you live in the area and want your items shipped to you, please let us know after the auction.
